1.7 Discounts/deals
Discounts or special offers based on a pre-communicated number of participants become void if fewer participants attend than originally specified. Unit 13 will then apply the regular pricing.
1.8 Course of event

Their instructions must be followed at all times. During the event it is not allowed to return to the parking lot.

Bringing your own food and drinks to a Unit 13 event is
not permitted. The organization provides the option to purchase drinks, snacks or hot meals on-site at market-conform prices.
1.10 Alcohol & drugs
Handling and using airsoft replicas does not combine with soft or hard drugs. The use of drugs before, during or after the event is strictly prohibited. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in moderation, but not during or shortly before gameplay. Participants may be refused access by Unit 13 on grounds or suspicion of alcohol or drug intoxication. Participants found in such a state will immediately be excluded from participation without refund. The police may be informed.

If necessary, gameplay will be stopped and everyone must wait in the respawn or safety zone. Always bring your health insurance card to Unit 13 events.
If you are not adequately insured, participation is entirely at your own risk and Unit 13 is not responsible for any consequences.

1.15 Offences
If a criminal offence occurs during a Unit 13 event, we are obligated to report it to the police.
1.16 Rental kits
Participants renting a rental kit from Unit 13 Outdoor Adventures must carry an ID card and are required to complete the rental form. They are not allowed to use their own BBs/ammo or magazines. Rental equipment may not be handed over to other participants. Rental equipment is registered by name and must be returned complete. In the case of excessive misuse, Unit 13 Outdoor Adventures may recover damages from the responsible participant.
1.17 Clothing
It is strongly recommended to wear sporty clothing and sturdy closed shoes during a Unit 13 event. Heels/slippers are not suitable for running around in our arena!
2. The Replica law
2.1 Transport of replicas
Your replica may not legally be transported visibly or ready for use. We advise transporting your replica in a locked case. Keep BBs and magazines separated from the replica during transport. Your replica may only be unpacked inside the safety zone!
2.2 Real weapons/alarm guns
It is forbidden to carry real firearms or weapons (knives, daggers, bayonets, etc.) during the event. Imitation knives are allowed.
2.3 General operations
Replicas may only be made ready for use in designated Unit 13 areas. Replicas must therefore be transported from the parking area to the safety zone in a weapon bag or case, according to Unit 13 regulations. Arriving in full camouflage clothing is not permitted. Only camouflage pants combined with civilian clothing are allowed.
2.4 Lasers
Only class 1 and class 2 visible lasers are allowed. All other classes (including 1M and 2M) are prohibited. Lasers may only be used as aiming devices and not for blinding. We reserve the right to refuse lasers without sufficient class certification.
3. Airsoft rules
3.1 Airsoft replicas / FPS / playstyle
Only airsoft replicas are permitted during Unit 13 events.
Replicas of weapons and equipment are allowed provided they are completely inert, non-functional, and comply with legislation.
Due to joule creep and excessive impact energy, only BB weights up to 0.25 grams are allowed in our CQB arena. Additionally, there must be at least 0.5 seconds between shots.
Unit 13 applies a controlled CQB playstyle focused on safety, honesty and teamwork. All participants are expected to play in a controlled and disciplined manner.
Undesirable gameplay includes excessive trigger spamming, uncontrolled “spray & pray” shooting, aggressive or reckless behavior and intentionally creating disputes or refusing to take hits.
Such behavior may result in warnings or sanctions by marshals. Unit 13 marshals always have the final say regarding gameplay and conduct.
The maximum allowed muzzle velocity with 0.20g BBs is:
360 FPS (5 FPS margin)
For any replica with automatic BB feeding, the maximum is 360 FPS with a margin up to 365 FPS (measured with 0.20g BBs). Above 365 FPS is not allowed.
500 FPS (5 FPS margin) Note! Not allowed within CQB
For manually operated replicas such as sniper rifles, the maximum is 500 FPS. A minimum engagement distance of 15 meters applies.
Within 15 meters another replica must be used.
Anything above
500 FPS (5 FPS margin) is prohibited. FPS reducers are not allowed.
All replicas will be tested before the start of the event.
Participants may be subjected to additional FPS tests at any time.
3.2 FPS Limit Specification
Category Shotguns: Shotguns
360FPS/1.2 Joule – Single Shot, Multi Burst
Category Sidearm’s: Pistols & Revolvers
360FPS/1.2 Joule – Semi-Auto Only
Category Full Auto: Assault Rifles & SMG’s
360FPS/1.2 Joule – Semi-Auto Only
Category Support Replica’s: (Light) Machine guns
360FPS/1.2 Joule – Semi-Auto Only
Category DMR: Semi Only Replica’s
360FPS/1.2 Joule – Semi-Auto Only
Category Sniper: Bolt Action (Spring, Gas/CO2) [In CQB only under 360 FPS allowed!]
3.3 FPS test station
You are required at the start of a skirm to have your replica tested at the Unit 13 FPS measurement station.
All measurements are to be shot with 0.20 gram BB’s which we will provide.
When your replica shoots within the FPS limits, you will get a visual marking on your replica.
In game you may be tested as a control. If your replica does not comply with the FPS limits, this will lead to a sanction. If joule creep is suspected, a joule measurement is done.
HPA (High Pressure Air) & CO2 Rigs Players who have HPA and/or CO2 setups, of which the FPS can be adjusted, must have a possibility on the replica and/or regulator to have this secured against interim adjustment of the FPS. If your setup does not allow this to be secured, the setup is not allowed!
3.4 Safety briefing
Every participant is required to be present at the safety briefing. This starts at the designated time by the Unit 13 marshals. If you are not present at the briefing because you might be late or delayed, there is a possibility to request a briefing at the rental stand (safety zone). You have
no access to the event without the safety briefing!
3.5 CQB (Close Quarter Battle, Playing in buildings)
3.5A
On CQB terrains (buildings etc.) the playing distances are drastically reduced and extra protection is certainly recommended.
We strongly advise the use of a full-face mask in order to be sufficiently protected against possible BB impacts to the face.
Unit 13 cannot be held responsible for accidents if the player has not taken sufficient precautions regarding the protection of their own physical integrity.
3.5B
Within a CQB zone, only single-shot is allowed, burst functions are not permitted! Only replicas that can shoot single shot and shoot under 360 FPS are allowed. Sniper rifles under 360 FPS are allowed, but not recommended. Full auto only replicas are not permitted.
3.5C
It is not allowed to move, damage or destroy windows, doors and/or walls. The costs will be recovered from the responsible person. (See Article 1.5)
This includes intentionally using windows, doors and/or walls for tactical advantage. Stay away from the windows and do not damage (pierce) the walls! Violation of this prohibition may result in immediate removal from the event without reimbursement of paid fees.
3.6 “Hit”-system
Within airsoft we use the Honor system. This means that you must be honest about whether you are hit or not. If you are hit, clearly shout “Hit”, immediately raise your hand or replica if possible, and put on a fluorescent vest or use a hit sock / hit rag. This indicates that you are no longer in-game. Then follow the Medic rule or return to your respawn.
The marshals of Unit 13 monitor whether you are taking your hits correctly. If you fail to do so, you will receive a sanction in the form of a note on your wristband. You must then go to the respawn. With a 2nd similar note, you will be permanently removed from the game. (More information can be found in article
3.8)
Honesty is important within airsoft.
3.7 Hit on airsoft weapon
Whenever you are hit on your airsoft weapon, it also counts as a hit. You may continue playing with your sidearm, if available. Clearly shout “Weapon hit” so your opponent knows you can no longer use the hit replica.
3.8 The Cheaters bracelet
All players at Unit 13 receive a wristband (also referred to as a cheaters bracelet) during an open event with their personal number on it. A marshal may place a sanction mark, stripe or cross on this bracelet. Two stripes equal one cross. These sanctions are given for disrupting gameplay or breaking the rules. Depending on the severity of the violation, a stripe or cross will be issued. Unit 13 keeps track of these notes in its system. This means that if you receive a cross, it remains active for two open events. With two crosses, you will be removed from the site without refund and banned from participating in Unit 13 events for a period of 6 months.
3.9 Use of Pyrotechnic materials
Attention! The use of Pyrotechnic materials is not permitted! Email us for more information!
3.9A
Non-pyros thrown into a room
clear/kill everyone in the entire room. All non-pyros are classified as “grenades”. Outdoors, the
7 meter rule applies, meaning everyone within a 7 meter radius is considered “Hit”. Smokes are not allowed.
3.9B
Non-pyrotechnic grenades that do not resemble explosives are allowed. At this time these include only the Airsoft Innovation Tornado grenades without spoonkit, in all colors except black, the Avatar grenades, the Strataim Nova Episolon grenades, the E-RAZ airsoft grenade and the ASG Storm Apocalypse Grenades.
3.9C
Non-pyrotechnic materials may not be thrown over a wall of a building, but only through windows/doors.
3.10 Knife Kill
If you are in possession of a dummy knife, you may perform a knife kill. You use the knife to tap another player on the shoulder or body. A knife kill is a silent kill. The player does not shout “Hit” but immediately returns to the fixed or mobile respawn. During open events, the medic system does not apply in this situation. (See article
3.19 for more information about the medic system)
3.11 Blind firing
Blind firing is strictly prohibited. Blind firing, also known as “blind-fire”, is when a player fires their replica without having visual contact with the target. This is often done around corners or over cover. This unsafe way of shooting will result in a sanction.
3.12 Violence
Physical and/or verbal violence is strictly prohibited at Unit 13. If you engage in such behavior against another player or a marshal, you will receive a sanction. In the event of physical violence, the player will be immediately removed from the premises.
3.13 Dead men don’t speak
When you are hit, you may no longer communicate tactical information with your team, including through the radio, as you are out of the game. If a marshal notices this, you will receive a mark on your cheaters bracelet. The only things you are allowed to say are “Hit”, “Medic”, “Dead man walking” or “Dead men don’t speak”.
3.14 The Safety zone
Whenever you enter a safety zone, remember the 4 safety measures: 1. remove the magazine from your replica (including your sidearm or grenade launcher), 2. clear your replica by firing several times in a safe direction, 3. switch the fire-selector of your replica to “safe”, and 4. always keep the barrel of your replica pointed in a safe direction. Keep your finger(s) off the trigger. It is not allowed to aim your replica at anyone inside the safety zone.
Firing inside, towards, through or from a safety zone is not allowed. No dry shots (firing your replica without actually shooting a BB) in the safety zone! This is strictly prohibited! If a marshal notices this, you will receive a mark on your cheaters bracelet. Unit 13 staff are exempt from this rule.
Whenever you leave the safety zone, this will be clearly indicated with signs and markings. Before crossing these signs, put on your safety glasses and/or mask, and keep them on as long as you are outside the safety zone.
If you violate a safety zone safety measure, you will immediately receive a mark on your cheaters bracelet. We take the safety of you, others and ourselves very seriously!
3.15 Safety glasses
Outside the safety zone, you are
required to wear approved (ANSI Z87.1 and/or CE EN166) safety glasses or a mask. Under no circumstances is it permitted to remove these glasses or mask while on the playing field! If a marshal notices this, you will receive a mark on your cheaters bracelet.
3.16 BB’s
Only approved BBs are allowed at Unit 13. Metal, glass, ceramic or any non-plastic BBs are prohibited. Maximum BB weight is 0.25 grams! It is not allowed to use your own BBs in Unit 13 rental replicas!
When there is doubt about the safety of BBs, the marshal has the final say.
Allowed BBs:
- BIOVAL (BBBMAX line is not allowed!)
- GREEN DEVIL
- XTREME PRECISION
- ASG BLASTER & TRACER BB’S
- G&G BIO & TRACER BB’S
- MADBULL BIO BB’s
- NIMROD BIO BB’s
- NIMROD BIO TRACER BB’s
- Evolution BB’s
Other brands are not allowed!
3.17 Sound signals
Unit 13 uses a number of sound signals
1 x long –
start of the game
3 x long –
end of the game
1 x short –
attention (marshal use)
3.18 Smoking
Smoking is only allowed in the designated areas.
3.19 Medic system (only open events)
At the moment of a “hit”, the wounded player lies down and shouts “Medic”. The medic can be recognized by an upper arm band with a red cross on it. (Provided on location)
The medic will come to the wounded player and can heal them by tying a red ribbon around one leg. At that moment, the player is back in the game.
The medic must heal the “wounded player”
within 5 minutes. If these 5 minutes expire, the player is considered “dead” and must return to the respawn. The player may also decide earlier that they are dead and return to the fixed respawn.
If the “wounded player” moves before being healed, this is considered a hit and the player must return to the respawn. (Wounded players may still be carried away realistically).
The medic has a limited number of ribbons available to heal wounded players; once they are gone, they are gone. A player may only be healed once.
If the healed player returns to the respawn after being hit again, they must remove their medic ribbon and leave it there for the medic. The medic can collect the ribbons there again if needed!
The medic must follow the same rules as all other players: Hit is hit. A medic may therefore also be healed by another medic. Healing yourself is not allowed.
A player killed with a knife kill may not make use of the Medic system and must return directly to the respawn.
3.20 In-Game vehicles/vessels
Unit 13 may use in-game vehicles/vessels. These vehicles/vessels are operated by marshals and will follow the commands of the occupants if possible/feasible. The driver always has the final say. Attention must always be paid to the danger of getting underneath the vehicle/vessel. Occupants may be fired upon, however unnecessary shooting at vehicles/vessels will not be tolerated. Vehicles/vessels can be disabled by detonating non-pyros (grenades/flashbangs) underneath the vehicle. If the vehicle is equipped with mounted replicas, these may be operated by players (with respect). The maximum passenger capacity for vehicles will be indicated by the operating marshal.
3.21 Shields (Riot shield)
The use of shields is not allowed during Unit 13 events!
Complaints and/or suggestions:
Unit 13 is open to suggestions. If something is not to your satisfaction, or if you have a serious complaint regarding the course of events, do not hesitate to speak to a marshal in the safety zone (not during gameplay). They will refer you to a Unit 13 staff member, who will certainly listen to you.
Finally
If a marshal notices that you are violating one of the above rules, they will mark your entry bracelet. With two markings, you must leave the playing field.
We reserve the right to immediately remove you from the premises in the event of serious violations, including physical conflicts.
Immediate removal will also follow if you have used alcoholic beverages or narcotics shortly before or during the event. This is for your safety and ours.
Unit 13 reserves the right to change these rules retroactively without prior notice.
We hope you will have a great time at Unit 13. If you have any questions regarding this disclaimer, you can always email or call us.
We look forward to your visit.
